Well I just want some clarification because there is two conflicting information at the moment.
In this (http://forums.layonara.com/layonara-server/223362-layonara-3-2-release-notes.html) post the only thing that is said is that only Hickory and Mahogany Bolts and Arrows or Light and Serious Bullets can be used. But it says nothing about which type, if any, is able or unable to be trained with.
While in this (http://forums.layonara.com/bug-reports/240202-bows-training.html) thread, Dorg says that yew bows can't be trained.
What is what?
-
Not sure what the right answer is and I have not tried customizing after training because I took care of that first, but...
I have 7500 titanium-tipped, mahogany shaft, raven fletchings trained on an Elite Flight of the Fancy.
Completed is an iron-tipped, mahogany shaft, raven fletchings trained on a yew compound bow with a might +3 on it.
So far, the trained bow is functioning properly. Should it be?
-
Ah ha so now I know why I can't get my hand on Titanium ;). Thanks for the answer Twidg, let's see what the answer is.
-
Yeah sorry, I mis-spoke and hand my bows mixed with ammo.
*mutters something about posting past his bed time*

Alright then here is my second question. Does the LR of a bow goes up when you train it with arrows?
-
Yes. The LR goes up. That is, once it's fully trained. During the training, however, you should not see a change. At least, that is my experience from when I created one of the bows.
-
I imagine it goes up to the level of the arrows that is being used?
-
Eh, it goes up by however much the price of the bow has changed according to the bioware defaults for that stuff.
-
well if you go with hickory, platinum and stirge feather. It doesn't change the bow LR at all. Haven't tried with other type of arrows.
