That's funny you post that HB, because there is also an action/emote that 'eats' alchemist's fire - i'll endeavor to work it out and report it as well.

Not sure if it is indeed the emotes that eat up the spell components.  I have noticed on several ocasions that sometimes after casting a spell that uses a component (like Ice Storm which uses a Drop of Water) the game engine or script or whatever forgets to stop removing the Drops of Water and continues to remove one from your inventory about once per round, until they're all gone.  I'll see if I can supply a log myself if I ever catch it happening again.

Emotes gotta eat too!  If we starved them, we'd all be emotionless.  :P

I think I found what's causing this and why, and there should be a fix in for the next update.
