Title: Losing money at the trade merchants.

I was just wondering if it was me, but when ever I buy to much thing and my inventory gets fill then buy the one that tells me my inventory is full, the money gets transfered but I'm not receiving the thing I bought. And the money doesn't seem to be given back as I do not see a message saying so.

IS this how it is intended?
