Description: Bronze Scimitars cannot be edited at the Vehl crafthall. I have a bronze and iron scimitar that Green recently bought. I went to edit them both, I got a message that I was not holding a weapon when I tried to edit the bronze one. I could switch to the iron one and I could edit that one.

Reproducable: Yep, tried everything, even logging in and out.
I don't know that this even matters as not a lot of people probably run about with bronze scimitars...
Anyhow...

At one time ( I dont know if this still works or not).
You could hold the weapon you know allows you to modify it... click on the bench or whatever... but dont choose modify weapon.... switch to the bronze one... then choose modify weapon.
That may not work anymore though. It used to be the only to modify the Helm of Armor... way back when.

Did you try oxing the scimitar before editing it?
Also, I'm not sure if you know this, but custom named weapons can't be modified, could that be the problem?

Oh! Yeesh that's exactly it! I named the Bronze one but not the iron!
