eer oi hear some outfit called the Tower sumik is auctioning an emerald ...well wot dids oi tell ya ...it aint the emerald thats woef anyfink it wot they do wif it that thats worf the dosh...so keep that in mind ...dont be a dobber ...cam ta me The Wee man fer yer emeralds...or even better oi got a stall called "Emerads fer Gold" wif a guarantee that oil give ya the best price ...just pop yer emeralds in a bag and mail them ta me ouse on Krandor and by return a post oil send ya wot its worf Plus 10 per cent...now ah cahnt say fairer...but wot oi can say is that this TOWER MOB ARE WELL DOGEY...If ya gets me drift

I'll bid 5000 for the Emerald.  I know it ain't near worth it but if no one else wants to give money, I will.

If you are so desperate to get emeralds. Get up of your fat arse and go down the deep for two weeks. If you survive and get some good for you. Leave the honest people that knows what the value of that previous rock is, and knows the dangers of getting it, which is why it gives it that price, do their business alone and without interference of your trolling their auction posters.

Tower Academy,

For the emerald I will bid the fair market rate of 7,500 coins plus an additional 2,500 coins for your cause, making my total bid 10,000 to the Tower Academy.

So as not to offend, my bid is due to the following.  Based on the recent increase in emerald circulation and amount of jewelry gifted to people as of late, I find it unreasonable to expect more.  By my estimation, emeralds are worth no more than one hundred and fifty percent of the recent selling prices of a diamond, 5000 true.  The days of my youth during the era of Bloodstone, where emeralds were selling for 50,000, 75,000, 100,000 or more are completely gone to the winds and will hopefully never return.

Please let me know when I may pick up the stone.

I mean I see you have your own adds over the market hall, but since no one is replying, you are standing around the posters of others just waiting to see who comes and pin their offers to other people, even if they are paying more than you ask? That must have a rotten feeling to see you have alienated a few people eh?

Like I said earlier, get your atrophied legs moving, find yourself a group and go down the deep for two weeks. Then I'm sure dawn of realization will come to you, and you will see why emeralds are not worth simple diamonds.

Remember, this isn't just for a raw emerald, but for a finished product, if you want it--be it ability jewelry, enchantment, resistance, or even a belt of the battle mage.
