Title: Jungle disturbance

*Due to recent events the gates of Stort, leading to and from the jungle, are hereby sealed by order of the Raven Trade
Company, pending an investigation. The port is still open thus commerce and travel continues unaffected.*

//OOC: We are asking you the players to please respect that the gates are sealed IC. If you want to travel into the swamp through Stort, then contact a DM to RP picking the locks or climbing over the walls etc.//

//Is this still in effect?  If so, when do you estimate things back to normal?  Also, is it really necessary for us to involve a DM to RP picking the locks, or can we just RP it out ourselves that we sneak in/pick the locks?

//Yes the gates remain locked, we'll post again once it's reopened.
As for involving a dm then getting caught traveling from Stort into the swamp (Stort isn't the only way in) will carry IC consequences, that being said then we can't/won't force anyone to respect that, which is why we only asked/requested people to contact a dm :)

The Gate into the swamp is once again open, but as always entering is at own risk.

The recent closing was due to instigation of a vicious attack on the pygmies made by the Dragon Cult. Besides from the hunting party that noticed the Cult ,a grower women, and the tribes holy malars were brutally slaughtered before the Cult vanished again.
As the malars are scared for the pygmies anyone carrying skin or meat from them will be turned away at the gates

Or were you suggesting that with a DM's help, there would be some other way in and out?
