//Still having issues with logging in.  The hotel IT support informs me that they do not block any IP addresses, but I'm still unable to log into the server.  I'm wondering if there aren't other settings that affect being able to connect.  If anyone has ideas, I welcome your suggestions.

You might ask the hotel internet guys if you can try to connect to "their personal" internet hookup and see if you can log on there.  If you can, then you can tell them that there must be something different about the standard room hookup and ask them to investigate it.

Or you might wana request a room change and try the other room's hook up.

Sorry for your troubles...I'll bet its pretty annoying.

Very annoying, changing hotels was not a good option since I'm traveling with others from work.  The Tech guy wasn't able to "see" the Layo server either, I've wondered if the server used by the hotel has been blocked from the Layo side.  I know the team used to do that when some individuals were banned and such, not sure if that still happens though.

//I think like Chazzler said its probably some block they have at the hotel to stop potential abuses such as porn, other unwanted sights, people buying stuff and saying deliver it to this ip address, etc, etc.

I'll bet you could ask the Internet guy to specifically "allow" the layo website and the layo sign-on web access; also they may have to allow GameSpy too.
