Title: Exceptional Bags?
Post by: Guardian 452 on March 28, 2010, 02:08:31 PM
How about we get an Exceptional bag when we roll 20?

Giving an additional 10% weight reduction?

Ex. Cougar = 30% Weight Reduction
Ex. Crag Cat = 50 % Weight Reduction
Ex. Lion = 70% Weight Reduction
Ex. Malar Panther = 90% Weight Recuction

Its been a while since ive mesed around with creating items, I dont recall if those weight reduction increments are even possible.

Was just a thought to reward those 20's :)

Careful not to draw too much attention to weight reducing bags, or risk someone wondering why they are made with just plain tailoring to begin with, as though a certain pattern of stitches could make things lighter... ;)

(Edit: A really skilled tailor might be able to sew you out of existence!)

Having recently messed around with creating items (http://forums.layonara.com/cnr-suggestions-discussion/269352-gem-wand-staff-dispelling.html), those increments are not, in fact, possible.

20% increments only... which is why, I suspect, we don't have, for example, tiger, panther, and other-skin bags.  Not enough options!  *grins*

More complete answer: Technically speaking, different increments might be possible, given the flexibility of Neverwinter's ItemProp 2das... but I have no idea how it might be done, or even where to start looking outside of "in the 2das".
