Got a question for clarity about gray elf.
Gray Elves are one of the many kinds of surface Elves on Layonara. They are among the tallest and most intelligent of their kin, and yet have a certain aura of arrogance about them. They are probably the most arrogant type of elf, seeking to put great distance between themselves and other races, including other elven races. The Gray Elves live deep in the mountains, past the point where even the dwarves turn around and go home. Gray Elves are a noble people, however, and seek to uphold good wherever they can.
On a few places on the lore page for Gray elf, you see those two words in conjunction. So I was wondering do they mean deep in the mountain range, but on the surface of the mountain, at higher altitude that any dwarf would go? Or does it mean in the mountain core itself?

My interpretation of "deep" in this case, was that they live far from the foothills of the mountain range. Deep implies distance from the low altitudes and they only live among the highest peaks.
I have always wanted to see drawings of what a Gray Elf city might look like.

It means far into the mountain range, which may mean higher altitudes or just far from the foothills, making access somewhat difficult and resulting in greater isolation.
It's a quirk of the English language, and not meant to imply they live under the mountains.

Unless you mean those green places "deep in and on the other side" of the mountain ranges. :D
