I got a question that was raised since My currently active character has a chance of owning a house. as in having that house put in her name and then sharing it with two other character belonging to other players.
I already have a character that owns a house. problem is: this character is permed and therefore could not do anything to put the house back on the market.
My questions is. is there a rule against(or for) a player having more then 1 character with a house?
I hope this question is clear. if not let me know.

As far as I know it Sonya left her house to her children no? So even though you couldn't take it with Sarah, it still leaves sil and elgon to take possession of that house.

As far as I know... there is no rule that forbids having one player owning houses with several of his characters.
I believe there is one against one character owning several houses.

Also, I think I recall something about two characters of the same player living under the same roof?

Right, it's not a rule as such but a request for courtesy to other players.

If this is the case, you should put in a request either to have the house transferred (if it is specified in a will somewhere) or returned to the market, which we can do administratively.

I think I will put in a request to have that house put back on the market.
Is that done along with putting in a request to delete the permed character? or do I have to do it separately?

It's separate typically. The character deletion request has its own thread. While you could put the house request in the same post for deleting your character, I might miss it.

This thread for me is only to ask how to do things. not have things actualy don. I'll post that somewhere else when the time comes. so no need to put anything on hold that hasn't been started.
