Title: divinity rings
Post by: davidhoff on May 23, 2010, 03:19:21 PM
Just found out Griff, a Voraxian Paladin, can't use a Divinity Ring I (gives three first level spells).  It only works for clerics.  That doesn't make any sense to me.  Is this restriction supposed to be like this?  Any thought to opening them up to Paladin's for use?

Well it's not just limited to clerics only, but it only gives three first level cleric spells, so even if a paladin could wear it, it wouldn't benefit the paladin at all.

Well, as a balance matter, given the spell slots that a paladin gets compared to a cleric, and the typical stats clerics vs. paladins invest in, it would make these rings significantly more powerful for a paladin (especially the II and III ring)

Thanks for the replies.  Agreed then maybe divinity rings would be much more powerful to a Paldin than to a Cleric.  Strike this query.  VORAX will provide!
