I noticed on the page for [lore]Sun Elf[/lore] that Cirdan is mentioned as a common male name.  It is also the name of a key elf in Tolkien's world.

You are going to hate me but Haldamir, also sounded familiar so I googled it and found this (http://tolkienacrossthewater.com/Haldamir.html).  Don't think it is an out and out Tolkien name, but there may be copywrights attached to it.
