Neverwinter | Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/NeverWinterGame?v=wall)
D&D Neverwinter co-op persistant world.
Tried to read through it a bit. Sounds like you will be able to run game instances in the D&D world. It also says that you can build and share adventures. I am wondering if that means some kind of DM type role. Any thoughts?

Exploring the New Neverwinter - PC Preview at IGN (http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/111/1119900p1.html)
Interesting article, but if you look at the companies making it...

I don't think there will be any active DM role in it. The user-generated content would work just like the regular company-generated content, running through the script for whoever came along to play it. I think it would be analogous to one of us making an area for NWN Layonara, complete with spawns and traps and NPCs and goodies, and then having it appear in-game to be played stand-alone as-is, except that there would be lots of separate instances to cover however many hundreds or thousands of players may be trying to play it at once.
I hope that makes sense.

@Gulnyr Yeah it looks like that is the case. I am sure it will be cool but the absence of a DM role, makes it yet another online RPG *yawn*.
