Title: NWN CD key
Post by: Masterjack on March 12, 2011, 09:37:50 AM: I just upgraded my computer and I am about to load NWN back on. I seem to have lost my cd keys...all three of them. I'll be away till I either get another copy or I find the old ones.

On a good note I have 2 weeks of vacation time to spend on Layo. Sadly my wife has to work during my vaction. The good news is that means I'll be available for some impromptu events during all hours. So be prepared...Once I get that CD key.

There is a file on the NWN folder called nwncdkey.ini where the CDKeys are stored.

you can get them from it.

If you haven't yet, do it with the new copy since it's very useful to have an online backup of those. It's saved my butt many a time. If worse comes to worst, Gog.com is selling NWN Diamond edition online digital download for $9.99.

Thanks I'll get the cd keys from my old installation.

If you make your account in the game's multiplayer function (Hit multiplayer and then hit create account) and do the process through there, NWN/Bioware automatically saves your CD keys. I was very thankful for this fact a few months ago when I decided to get back into the NWN Spirit....again.
