Title: NWN GM Client under Windows 7

Hi guys,

Anyone who knows a solution to running the GM client under Windows 7? I would like to start running NWN on my new laptop instead of my old one, which is almost giving up.

I can run the game regularly by running NWNMain as administrator, but that does not give me the opportunity to choose the GM client.

If I run the game normally as administrator I get the menu up, I choose GM Client, I continue to the starting sequence, but then it crashes just when the game menu screen should appear. The error message is that "Windows has stopped working".

Any suggestions?

Make a copy of the shortcut, and then under properties, where it says "target" add -dmc at the end.  put one space between the original target and the add-on.  It should work.

Edit:  sorry, make a copy of the nwnmain short cut

well... considering I had the same problem and Dorg is the one who helped me get through it, I'm just passing along the knowledge that I gained so that he doesn't have to.
