Title: Problems logging on

Ive installed the game and got it now working on windows 7 , haks are all sorted and where they need to be ....

My problem lies when trying to connect to either west or central and i type the password in

Its says :

Found the server , Attempting to log in ....


Then it just sits like that for ages without even doing anything , no server timed out , or couldnt not connect ...

Any help would be appriated after a day of sorting problem after problem lol

Have you tried to alt tab to see if Win7 is blocking the port and asking if it is okay to unblock it?  That would be my guess.

No firewall up and running? Windows or other? Is NwN.exe maybe already listed somewhere in the firewall?

i dont think its this , ive come across this in the past ... and when this has happened it at leasts comes up "server timed out"

Then I'd guess a problem with haks corrupted or missing.  I'd clear your hak and tlk folders and try reinstalling them.

I think this was an issue with Bioware when all that stuff happened with it crashing a while back.  It still takes a while to log in, but not nearly as long as it used to though.  Also, with Windows 7, you have to set up a shortcut to run it rather than going through the main menu.

im having no problem actually running the game itself it loads fine ... its once i click on layos servers and try conecting it just doesnt seem to be even trying to connect , ive also tried direct connecting thru gamespy , but that same thing happens

You have full admin privileges on on the machine?  I run nwn through a nwn.exe shortcut on my desktop.  The master server player login will time out as Alatriel said since they took it offline. Gamespy should still list available servers.  Layowest is 64.15.70.106:5121  Try a direct connect with just the ip?  Also, can you see layonara game server in the rp section of servers?

yup i have full admin , and i can see the servers , just go to log in and nothing happens

so is there a way of verifying my new keys , as i cant recall my old keys and even trying to recover my old keys from bioware i cant remember the log in details or what email address ive even used

Hey mumbles/Sein/Dan , lonnarin made an exceptionally good bit of advice here (http://forums.layonara.com/1743284-post3.html) about unique cd-keys. You could contact Good Old Games (GOG) customer support and ask for unique cd-keys, and they should supply them.
