Hello!!
Hello everybody, its been a while since I visited. Last checked was 12-30-2009 :\\
Whats new? Where is the server, where is the game? I want to play again, please let me know?
-
Great place to get NWN is GOG.com if you need it...
To get to the servers I just made links on my desktop:
WEST
"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition\\nwmain.exe"
+connect 64.15.70.106:5121 +password ********
CENTRAL
"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition\\nwmain.exe"
+connect 64.15.70.106:5122 +password ********
ANOTHER HINT
The BIOWARE server is down causing the loging process to timeout trying
to connect to it. It isn't a problem you just have a wait for it unless you
make the following modification to a file on your computer:
C:\\Windows\\System32\\drivers\\etc\\hosts
NOTE: The hosts file does not have an extension so if you change it,
make sure the editor doesn't append a ".txt" extension or this hint
will not work.
Modify the file to look like this:
# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
#
#
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1
localhost
# ::1 localhost
0.0.0.0 nwmaster.bioware.com
Essentially this disables DNS from resolving "nwmaster.bioware.com"
making login process faster.
Welcome Back!
