The new item 'one trick stick' is not usable by anyone. Even if you have the right credentials as per the description it cannot be used.
This may be a 'trick' by the creators :) but just in case it isnt I'm noting it here.

My character Adam Devry has one.... uses it often. Unless it's stopped working. How are you trying to use it?
I use it by having it equipped and dragging the staff to a hotkey and setting the "use" function of it up on that hotkey. It won't work if not equipped. Also it isn't an "on hit" effect.

While showing the item with Ausir I was able to equip it, not sure about the "trick" but can try to check later.
What is true is that I know that the character i was showing it too wasn't able to use it . This was Samantha Manse, a halfling sorcerer , I thougth that the issue would be the weapon size, since being a 2-handed staff would'n be able to be used by a halfer.
@Dezza Could you let us know the race and the class with whom you tried to pick it up? or its just the charge that doesn't work ?

Confirmed the One Trick Staff that Adam has (level 9 Human Wizard) is working as I designed it.

Okay I think thats it! My gnome was trying to use it.
