Animate Bed: Makes your bed sentient, so it would come pick you up when you are appropriately tired.
That'd be awesome ^_^ 3

General Discussion / RE: Shifter Vs. Wisdom« on: May 24, 2005, 08:54:00 AM »
You can pick epic feats with the normal "every 3 lvls" feats, just as long as you are epic. Class bonus epic feats are more restricted than that, meaning you can't just pick any feat, you have to pick a feat on your classes epic feat list whenever you get one of those bonus feats..

Fixed Bugs / RE: Druid Forms« on: May 19, 2005, 07:44:00 AM »
Just to chime in, although I haven't played much lately.
I haven't experienced this yet, I get the glowy effect when saving while shifted, yes, but my stats stay the same, item bonuses counted and all. I mostly use my Shifter shapes though, not so often the druid shapes. 9
General Discussion / RE: Lost item... help« on: May 16, 2005, 07:36:00 AM »
Actually I prefer watching something nonsensical like Pokemon or even Skiing in those situations... Skiing works a real charm on hangovers for some oddish reason.
... and don't you tempt me with stuff like that when I'm on guard for the 3rd day running (Earliest I can go home is Thursday) -_- 10

All of the undead animating spells (Animate Dead, Create Undead and Create Greater Undead) have the evil descriptor, this means they are evil aligned spells, and using them is an evil action.
Also, no matter how you slice it, animating someones corpse is downright insulting to the person it's done to. Animate Dead doesn't restore heroes of old to fight for you, it animates bones or corpses in a manner much like a golem, there is no soul in it. So no, you don't bring back the spirit of a fallen Paladin to fight for you, but you might animate the bones once into some 4 intelligence creature that obeys your every whim, is that not insulting to his memory? To have a once great leader and speaker become a skeleton with no intelligence to speak of. The bones are also destroyed after the spell ends, meaning you can't keep animating the same bones over and over. The Create Undead line create an evil, sentient, undead creature, there is no way using such a spell can be a good act. (The creature created is evil by nature) 14
Fixed Bugs / RE: Summon Issues:« on: November 30, 2004, 11:00:00 AM »
Now, I'm not Ghost, but I'm going to try to explain this anyway.
It can't be fixed that some spells should work with a certain eschew, but aren't, because they are higher level spells for other classes. The reason being there is only one version of each spell, so you can only set its level one place when considering eschew for example. As an example:There are no seperate spells that are Greater Magic Weapon - Mage, and Greater Magic Weapon - Cleric, there is just Greater Magic Weapon, as such you can only tell the game that Greater Magic Weapon is one set spell level, since the game has no idea which class is casting it. Therefore usually the higher one is chosen, as Aryn said (Not counting spells granted by Domains). It can't be fixed, (or maybe it can but it would take tons and tons of redundant coding) if I recall correctly this is the explanation Ghost gave me. It is only a few select spells this is a problem with, like Neutralize Poison, GMW and Create Undead as you said. But frankly, Create Undead is such a worthless spell anyway, not worth fussing over. 15

// I .... I did so not see this coming. I'm not really sure what to say either ... I mean, caught me entirely by surprise with this. 8bit, man, are you sure you want your PCs deleted and all? I mean, they are like your time investment. Can understand if you would rather spend time on other stuff, like the Uni stuff I know you are doing. You might want to come back someday, hopefully sooner rather than later.
8bit, I'll miss you, and your characters, and even your verbal abuse of me *grins* Keep in touch. 18

Quests Ideas and Discussion / Todays Quest.« on: July 22, 2005, 03:23:00 PM »
Well, I scheduled a quest for today, called "The Many faces of Fear", I did state in the quest description in the calendar that I might possibly be late because of being out looking at apartments earlier this day. And well, it so turned out that I got home about 2½ hours later than the quest was supposed to start.
I'm sorry for this, but I could hardly tell the housebroker to cut it short because I had a quest to GM back home, now could I? ![]() I'm sorry to the people waiting in vain for me in Lorindar, but atleast it sounded like you had a lot of fun RPing and brushing up on your characters so they weren't entirely wasted ![]() It has been moved to tomorrow, albeit a bit later.
