Took me 5 1/2 hours. Straight. Work today sucked afterward, of course  Might I suggest reading the Belgariad, Mallorean, Elenium, and Tamuli series' by David Eddings? Excellent books.

It's always interesting when someone brings this up again.
PvP isn't going to happen. Take all the votes you want, post rallying cries for PvP, chant slogans, whatever. PvP still won't happen. It is one of the server's definite rules.
Get used to it. Layonara is a better place for it.

The problem with splitting parties is that only half of the group will get the XP from any kill. Also, DMs like to have characters in "Party Chat" on a quest, so if you say something, only half of the characters will hear. Pretty much anything you do only affects half of your party-mates, come to think of it.

Wel, it's a catch 22 because some people find it rude to right click someone to see 'who' they are without RPing the information themselves ... and most people do not have a full accurate description of themselves listed and right clicking wouldn't tell you anything if you did. This has been my problem with RPing because i've found out a few times that someone was a drow only from talking to them ... even their picture wouldn't have made it obvious. The other half of this is that some put their whole life story there, making RP unnecessary...

Someone teased me about carrying my weapons in town once...

The next week was the infamous Drow invasion, then we had the mindflayer experiments, and there were always the meteor showers. I met her again a few days later and she had her own swords out. It was some good RP. I raised my eyebrow at seeing her swords out, she blushed and apologized for harassing me about my weapons, then we killed some drow together. Haven't seen her without her swords since...
