really not sure how IC this note is, however, in character Druke would say Hlint because its just south of the far reach forest (read history) but if i played a merchant iw uoldn't have a problem at all with port hampshire. I recall in Layo V1 it seemed like they were going to let you chose starting cities, i wonder what happened to that idea. anyways it would be nicce if the cities all were surrounded by and easier area, i mean,,, how do these small towns stand up to the surround bad guys, i would LOVE to travel thats kinda why, i'm so inclinded to 'level', just so i can see the rest of teh world without fear of being smacked by some unknown evil?

If you like RP if you jsut want to hack away and earn PHAT LEWTZ, then no, expect to spend AT LEAST %50 of your time in role playing situations

Last night i took many steps toward my goal however.. I was felled by a horde of Ogres who encircled me. They had me down in a matter of five seocnds. The tradgic part of this is as my soul passed to the next world, a strange being reached out to me.. the soul mother. I fear I will not be able to take that to much, and i feel a part of my very essence now gone.
Today I am meeting with a man in the wild surge to buy an Iron scimitar, I hope it will be as great an addition to my arms as I am hopeing.

Today i learned something in the way of 'politics' and it seems the world is indeed far different from the myths taught by my people. Long ago giant lizards called dragons migrated to our world, and that they have bene mostly killed off by some 'blood' person, aditinally he is a tyrant on road to ruling the world. Quite troubling, everyone is talking of mistone's cities uniting, however the elven clans are left out.. perhaps i have found a task. However i know they will not beleibve anything i have to say, i left them afterall running away with a maiden of another clan...I need proof that i have come far.. and the only proof they'll see is proof of strength... Perhaps its time I invoked the savage once again, mastered the art of elken'an and then.. then they will listen...

well if you use the whip to trip someone isn' the whip in use around the person's ankles? thus it wouldn't be possible to hit them, so make the whip (or the character for the matter) stop attacking for a short duration or switch weapons, if the switch is made though, the person needs to drop the whip(thus not able to make a second knockdown).

A wonderful event it was, Owen was unable to make it, however i ran into him in Leilon, where a stray wind or perhaps a giant seagull... landed him on top of the city walls, Seluna and I then proceded to Hlint. Hope Owen is alright, would have been a nasty jump.

i have a radeon 9700 pro, and i have never hated a graphics card more, NWN and anything the uses 3d crash every 20 mins or so, i'm switching to an nvida, not for quality but jsut so i can play the dang games :p

*at first this book is nothing but a collection of hides, which have writtings, perhaps in blood, however after a while the book turns to more modern paper and ink*
*the first 12 pages or so denote Druke's journey from the far reach forest, to the seilwood, and Druke and Seluna's 20 year stay, living off the land*
the last of the hide pages is as follows
"Seluna and I have decided to leave the full cover of the woods and move into the city of Hlint, there are many strange peoplet here, however i know that anyone from the clans of far will not go there and i nor do i think they'll think we will either."
*the parchment begins, catalouging a series of encounters with different people and different races*
"Drow.. darks kinned elves, whos seem to be in abundance why everyone seems to have a distaste for them i know not, but they are quite powerful and knowledgeable"
"the short folk tend to be silly, and often childish, except for the dwarves who are more immature adults and drunks, i dont much care for dwarves but gnomes and brownies are quite the interesting sight"
