The revert worked! Thanks for the help. I think the guy in the other thread might have been confused about whether the reversion patch had been applied at all.

Good catch. I didn't see the version number before. I'll give it a shot. Also, the thread that talked about reverting to 1.65.8074 was here: http://www.layonaraonline.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=14223&posts=6

A solution appears to have been discovered on that thread. I'll finish up here with a report if one of the methods works...

I can't find it anywhere on the Bioware site. If you know where it is, please direct me to it. As I said, there is a reversion package to 1.65 but it doesn't revert me to the precise sub-version that I need.

I am new to Layonara and trying to log on to create my character and play for the first time (yes, I already got it approved). I just installed NWN and the two expansion packs, which means I am at the outdated version 1.59. If I auto-update that installation from Bioware I will be at 1.66 and still unable to log onto Layonara. From reading on these forums it appears I need to somehow get my installation to version 1.65.8066 (exactly... downgrading from 1.66 to 1.65 using Bioware's reversion package will leave me at 1.65.8074 and still not able to log on), but I have no idea how to accomplish this. Bioware doesn't have version steps archived anywhere that I have been able to find.

Is there some method I am missing, or do I just have to wait until Layonara upgrades to 1.66? Thank you for any help you can give.
