It is interesting to me to see the people who defend pick pocketing by saying it's rewarding are the people who play theives and pick pocket. Coming from the other end of the spectrum, I hate the idea of pick pocketing because the last thing I want after an 8 hour quest i've been RPing and finally finished has to be done all over again because some thief is out there stealing everyone's stuff. There is no promotion of fun in this concept and has led many people to leave servers that allow pvp pick pocketing ... especially in an all 'good' setting.

According to the racial write up, a half giant could be raised in a human society or a giant society. If he were raised in a barbarian/ nomadic lifestyle of humans, it is possible for Vorax to be worshipped by them ( yes a more chaotic god of war would be more likely). I had thought about a Cleric of Gronnoch as well though ... I just didn't feel like using a maul for a weapon :p

and yes, given the non lawful alignment and not being allowed to be evil ... N/G and TN were the two I was thinking of.

I just put in the adjusted number instead of the original then adjusted for CH

ST: 14 -> 17

I have been debating on a barbarian / Shaman type combo dedicated to Torax or pure priest. Thoughts?

I am fairly new to Layonara but also am playing a monk and looked at the sacred fist. It is a cleric prestige class, not a monk prestige class. Plus the rules say it is a sticky subject for Monks, Druids, and Paladins to multiclass ... doesn't mean it's not possible. The Sacred Fist requires that you can cast priest spells first before being able to take the class, thus you'll have to run some type of character developement quest in order to multi cleric/monk so that you can go into Sacred Fist.

I think it is a nice looking prestige class though .... have you thought about playing a half giant cleric and then going into the Sacred Fist when you meet the requirements? ( I know i've thought of this )

Would that not depend upon how big the order is, what your status is within the order, and what city you live in (assuming there is more than one church for a given religion spread out in various cities)?

If there are only 100 of you, then it is more likely that news has gone round of a new member. If there are 2000 of you spreadout in three cities, I doubt you would have heard unless you were one of the head bishops of the church you're in.
