Roleplaying / RE: speaking of time« on: July 07, 2005, 09:20:00 PM »
Hello, Im new here and havn't been on the actual server yet. But on the last RP server that I played on, I had been there for 2 solid years, I was a DM, I was an active player, and I was a builder. While I was there, the issue of time was a trivial matter at the very best. Last night would be last night. Your character doesn't just sit in the inn and drink ale until they pass out when you log out from the server do they? They wait for you to come back, and when you come back, they pick up where they left off.
Perhaps they got some sleep while you were in class, but they didnt interact with anyone while they away, so that is why I say that for all intents and purposes, they pick up where you had them leave off. Other RPing guides here might be; hints for playing your alignment well, tips for playing a good paladin, etc.
