Wild Surge Inn / RE: Notes around town« on: July 27, 2005, 12:13:00 PM »
**Shane reads the note carefully**
"Well, at the very least an interesting story. Might as well tag along." **scratches his name on the note** 2
Fixed Bugs / RE: halfgiant skin changes colors all the time« on: July 24, 2005, 11:00:00 AM »Quote LoganGrimnar - 7/24/2005 12:41 PM From the smell, I would guess that they do not change clothes. Maybe it is a fine sheen of disgusting bacteria and molds. As if the booming crash of every step isn't enough to herald their arrivals, they are announced by their stench too. You know, a dip in the river every now and then wouldn't kill ya? 3
General Discussion / RE: The Nerves« on: July 24, 2005, 10:57:00 AM »Quote Varnart - 7/24/2005 11:48 AM Gonna have a violin test to enter a music school on the 25th July, 10.00 AM GMT. Gonna play Vivaldi's "Spring" from the Four Seasons, Rieding's "Concert in B minor", and a Minuet from J.S.Bach. Really nervous. Wish me luck.Best of luck! I have my BA in music, with a few credits towards my masters in Composition. Though, I am about 8th grade level on strings. (Brass was my speciality) If you like Rieding's B minor, you will love Ferdinand Kuchler's Concertino In D Op.15 . Well, at least I do.

Thanks again all! I just spent my fits few hours in Layonara, and it was great. I befriended a small shy goblin, met a fledgling wizard, and together we all scoured the sewers for a rat/man whole has stolen some taxation records. Great time!

Development Journals and Discussion / Rats and Bats and Goblins.. oh, why?« on: July 26, 2005, 03:14:00 PM »
My days in the town of Hlint have begun. This young bard has little to say of the entertainment in this town, as there is so little.
After meeting a few of the locals, it seems as if many are in the same boat as I am.. We arrived knowing very little of the "how's and why's", just that we are needed. It seems a bit contrived. Great evil, incredible adventures, etc.. Doesn't anyone ever get tired of collecting Goblin ears or digging through the sewers for this and that? I can't think of one great story that begins with the words: "Bring me the pelt of a rat". Here's hoping there are more threads to weave in this town. . . 7
General Discussion / Campaigns?« on: July 24, 2005, 11:31:00 AM »
Hey all, I have been here for a little bit now, and love it.
Aarron has been in the crypts, caves, and forests and met lots of great people. But I would really like to get in on some DM run events or campaigns. I have checked the calender, but I am not sure exactly what is available, or if my character would be eligible. Are there ever any pick-up DM run events? How about one today? hehThanks. 8

Hi all, I just wanted to drop a line here while my character is pending approval. I have purused the forums for a bit, and I can tell that the players and GMs are all very passionate about this realm.
That is the main reason I wanted to join the realm. It seems that, despite recent troubles, everyone here genuinely cares about the quality of RP and experience we all have here. Anyhow, I just wanted to say that I look forward to joining the community. Nick
