Tired of playing in the mud to shovel some clay for hours just to melt some metal in it and repeat the whole staining process again? Encourage adventurers looking for work, coin or a few materials to try their hand at smelting and blacksmithing! That's right, let ME deliver to you boxes of molds for your crafting pleasure!
While mining is clearly out of my means and capabilities, being a bard and fledgling mage, shoveling is good work for me in the outdoors with minimal danger for my weak capabilities. I'd be happy to provide full boxes of small, medium or large molds, either for some true, some copper nuggers, uncut gems or spell scrolls.
Send me a bird or propose your trade here, or simply provide the amount of what molds you require and we can arrange something.

I am looking to buy copper nuggets from miners and gatherers. As I am but a feeble and aspiring scholar, mining myself is quite of a chore, not to mention very dangerous for me. As such, I would be willing to buy nuggets individually or in bulk. Being quite new around the area, I do not know the ongoing price, but please state how much you would be willing to be paid for each of for a set quantity. I can also exchange some goods if you wish, as I have plenty of cut gemstones, spell reagents and a couple spell scrolls.

Hi all! I've been playing for a little while and got a few questions, I tried searching for the answers but couldn't find them. - Is there a way to know what spell components are necessary for mage spells? Like either a list, or something in game, like a fake spellbook? Because it's kinda silly for a mage to memorise spells and find out in the midst of action that it won't be cast for lack of a component - I found some "points of interest", which mentions something about an explorer badge. What's this about? - Is there some guides to know recipies for tradeskills apart from ingame? And is there some way to know what are the components for infusing and such? I didn't see recipie cards for some of the skills and don't know what I should carry. - Is it normal that we cannot craft regular sugar? I can do powdered sugar, but not the regular one, or am I blind? Just wondering, as it is pretty much in demand for many food crafts. - Is there a way to empty a filled water bucket without losing it from the inventory when you drink from it? Sorta silly it won't get empty and back in the inventory Thank you for the attention, will post some more later!

"This town is quite different from home I must say, people strive to work and adventure everywhere! I had a hard time getting my bearings and finding my way, but it seems several townfolks wish for some help and many showed me the way around too! I learned so much the first day, almost as if I was walking for the first time!
The economy here strives mainly on crafted objects, from potions to fabulous weaponry. As a personal goal, I must strive to learn some skills with various professions. As my master always said : If you know how to do it yourself, you can understand more of what surrounds you. So hard work ahead it seems!
Most people are quite friendly, although some prefer to mind their own business. I still have quite a few errands to run, but goblins are giving me a hard time. No doubt Drake had his shares of scratches and bruises for the day, but there ain't many I can turn to. Zug seems to really want me to help him out, as he did for me in the Sielwood cave, so I must strive to become a better wizard to help him in return. Oh but ain't these thoughts random, too bad I cannot flesh out the many experiences I had better, with the excitement.
Excitement, more like exilaration! I met one of the greatest heroes ever : Ozymandias Llewelyn! Just looking back on my sheepish grin back there makes me want to crawl under the table... but... Ozymandias! He was so much more than I ever believed from the tales, and so different too! It seems he is cursed, and pretty badly too... His own soul is tainted, and his body seems to dislike the straint of such a burden. I cannot believe such a great wizard, let alone an imaginable mine of knowledge, can suffer so much and walk more and more toward the grave... There must be a way to save him from this curse, there MUST! Even though he keeps saying it's a very complicated manner, I'm sure somewhere in this vast world, I might find a clue, a hint, a glimpse of something to help him! Speaking of which, I should go on traveling on this very matter right now!"

Gosh, I decided to check on the forums here today and realised how long I didn't play on Layo. Been a very active World of Warcraft tester and endgame player for so long, but didn't get any roleplay fix for years! I'm currently trying to get myself up to date on what's been going on in here and I must say : Wow, so much to read!
I'm glad you guys still exist after all this time, this has ever been the very best persistent server I ever saw! A big congradulations to all of you!
On a side note, I've been playing NWN2 for a bit and it gave me an itching for trying out Layonara again. I'll start working on a character background methinks!

I wasn't too sure where to post exactly, but since it regards CNR, I figured here might be a good spot. I've played a long time ago, but perhaps it's age, there is a lot I don't remember, so here goes my questions : - Is there some crafts that certain players cannot progress in, if for example the tools of the trade are considered martial or exotic? If so, which ones? - Is musical instrument crafting sorely reserved to bards, or can anyone craft some? - Is poison making sorely reserved to some classes, and can anyone apply poison to their weapons? (That skill didn't exist when I played back then, so I don't know how this one works at all) - I noticed there are spells components required for some spells, if I recall the temple of Ilsare vendor I consulted for the little 5 mins I was online today before the net crashed. Are components craftable, or only vendor-bought? - Is it possible, through the crafting of let's say, paper, to create ingame books, journals and the like? Many thanks

I possess scarce money, but am willing to pay for time and apprenticeship with basic crafts, dedication and discipline as seen fit. Reply to this note and I shall consult it daily.

Hi folks!
I played on Layonara a very long time ago and had a blast! Having reinstalled NWN and in need of a big RP fix I can't get anywhere, I'm back around here! Hope to have fun with you all ingame soon. Just need to get to character submission, I have a great idea and hope to expand on it soon!
