Yes that was where I was having a difficulty deciding on a weapon choice for a sea elf druid. Scimitar is unlikely, less looted from a treasure horde from a sunken ship or something. The Trident's well, perhaps the tips could be said to be a hardened form of coral perhaps or perhaps made from bone perhaps from whales that had naturally deceased. *shrugs* kinda grasping at straws.
I would love to see Trident as an alternative for Alternate enviroment druids. Also, as ya said, would be interesting to see varied armors based on unique enviroments. I am still working on my character. Am hoping i can finish it today and get into game finally. The debate rages on. heh. Thanks. See ya all soon. 2

Thanks everyone for the replies.
Well, that is always my biggest block when looking at druid, whether to take it only or to actually branch out into something else to add some extra falvor. The druid itself has tons of opportunity for roleplaying and style. Yet, sometimes I still feel there are holes that i need to fill in with something. heh. That's cool to hear that animal empathy is worthy. Always is interested to use and is great when ya can help keep others safe with it. As far as my question about the trident, was not sure if that could be considered unrefined *grins* but guess the spear tip would be. Thought it would just be fun *smiles* I will try and seek out other druids and teachers if I do decide to go that route. Even if not I always enjoy spending time with such personalities. Thanks again all. Talk with you again soon. 3

Thanks for the Warm Welcome!
Well my only concern was dealing with a subrace (sea elf) and it's weapons they get to replace the normal elf prof's. How does that effect my class if lets say I am a druid. Am I still restricted to the wood/blunts + scimitar? Or would a Trident perhaps be allowable? What if I combined druid with a class that allowed such a weapon, would i still be limited to druid only? Again, thanks. I know..sorry for all my questions Just want to have stuff semi figured out before i come inside to enjoy the world.Talk with you soon. 4

Thanks for the response and info.
I have read as much as I can from several sources on the site. It's all great info, guess was just trying to get some in game perspective before making a decision. Was also curious who do I contact about questions on a particular race/class concerns if the Guides or Handbooks do not cover it? Is there a specific GM? or Forum? Thanks again. Hope to see ya soon. 5

Hello everyone.
I wanted to drop a few lines and say Hi to everyone. I recently joined the forums, have been reading through the various guides and rules and everything i can so far. It's a bit overwhelming but very well done and plenty of information to go around. Also must say I truly enjoyed all the player movies ![]() I do have a couple questions..that are kinda holding me up from submitting my character just yet. I wanted to ask some opinions or perhaps some guidance on how to go about it. My main question is concerning the Multi-classing or Druids. From what i have gathered, once you stop progressing in druid, you can not return to it at a later period of time. I was really curious about the animal affinity skill and was wanting my character to be focused around nature and life, etc...but was not sure whether i should take the other class choice first, so i would be able to focus on nature stuff later. So guess am curious how useful the Animal affinity skill is on layonara? are there enough animals/creatures that it's worth using or should i just be happy with summons? Anyway, am debating cleric and druid for my character currently. Not sure how popular they are. Or if there is an abundance. I just always enjoy characters tied to nature in some form. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I look forward to seeing you all inside Layonara.
