Polishing is not required and time is not an urgency.  I do have a small number of raw fire opals I can provide if you wish.

To the Elders of Voltrex:
     
     We are here.  And as per the warnings to us this is a place of decay and savage races.  Unfortuneately even many of the the Elvens we have encountered have fallen from grace by Voltrex standards.  Yet.  We are here and we shall make the best of our situation to complete our assigned task.  Robin has made inroads with the locals and has procured a set of maps which have aided us greatly. She is also smartley rising in certain ... crafts that will be beneficial to our cause.  Leo has done the same and is progressing smartley along.  As for me I have chosen crafts but as of yet enjoyed the successes they have.  But I shall progress.  It just takes time. And time, I fear, is something of which we shall have an abundance.

     We have had many encounters with the undead here but have yet to determine the source or conduit to Voltrex.  Our search continues.

     On another note the animals here are succumbing to an unknown malady.  As far as we have been able to discern the insides of the animal become infected and ulcerous.  Fortuneately we are not the only ones concerned with this.  Many are working to solve this dilemma.  Be wary on Voltrex.  As encountered the animals are normal in appearance.  No bloating or insects have been observed on the affected.  We have been setting the dead animals here to flame.  Suggest the same be done there if any are encountered after proper inspection.

     I shall end this now as the ship leaves soon and I want this letter to be aboard.  We miss home.  But duty is paramount and it shall be done.

Looking to expand my abilities and need Cut Fire Opal.  Striving to improve my skills so that I can manufacture but until then I am not above exploring other sources.  Not desperate but all reasonable offers of sale will be considered.
