CN AlignmentWe have updated the CN alignment requirements to open it up to more people. You can read the text here: https://wiki.layonara.com/wiki/NWN_Character_Alignment_RulesThis alignment is still closed to brand new players on the server, but with the lessening of GMs and shrinkage of community in general, we hope this strikes a balance. Please note that the big part of the change is that we can and will ask the player to walk back the alignment to something else if the alignment doesn't seem to be understood by the player or if the alignment is being used as justification for abuse of the community at any level.

By request, exotic races are opening up. Wemic, Dark Elves, Sea Elves and Brownies will be welcome. Goblins and Orcs are invited as well. Thanks for your patience, Acacea. I've read through the submission change. Shifting away from PM and going with US does make the requirements far easier to work with. Reading through your thoughts on the matter and Neema's take on her path forward, I can see how the shift of PrC makes sense. Is Neema qualified (if approved) to take her next level as US? Additionally, what is her current level split? I would like to see an update of the CDT, perhaps an entry or two, to meet the qualifications for resubmission, if possible. If there is any reason that this can not be done, let me know and we can make some alternate arrangements. The CDT, up to the point where she was submitted for PM and her subsequent hold up in progress due to the lack of things, was well maintained and would have more than qualified. If it could be updated with one or two entries, I would be happy to call it a wash and give the approval for US (assuming she does meet the mechanical requirments for the class). ~row

Hello silverblades, This request would ordinarily be approved for a CDQ rather than the asked for CDT entries. Due to the limited amount of GMs and GM time, I am investigating options for you. Also, do you have any kind of CDT for this character? Even if it hasn't been contributed to lately, I'd still possibly find something helpful for the request. Yes, it does work differently now. The new forums all of that is automatic for players. The person in question needs to claim their character on the forums by setting up their NWN profile on their forums account. When that is done, the badge and forum access is done automagically. If the person(s) in question have problems figuring out how to do set up their NWN profile, we can help, just have them contact us in some kinda way and we'll do what we can. ~row

The talk and rumors continue night after night. Soon word filters out from places supposedly locked away from the threat of the plague. Spreading like wild fire on an oil-slicked sail, news comes that one of the city’s richest children was found dead amongst a pile of bottles. Speculation of why someone like that might have been taking cures sold by the less savory. “Ye get tha’ sick, desperation kin warp any. Aye?”

Have you tried logging in as GM to see if the situation is the same? Sometimes the issues are in the player platform only. I'm thinking we could be looking at a few things to start with. Video drivers might be good to check and make sure they are up to date. If they are, figure out if they were recently updated. They might need to be rolled back to a previous version. (I know, wibble wabbly about that but it's a thing that could be causing the issue). If it previously ran NWN fine we're looking for what changed between now and then, basically. The other thing I'm wondering is how full is your HDD? Does the program have enough room to run? Also do you play any other games on this machine? Even FB games? Do they also have similar issues? ~row

Hi Teo, Can you provide some basic info about your computer and OS? Also, have you verified that all of your video extras are off (shiny water etc)? Lastly, have you made any changes lately to your machine? I.E. updated video drivers or something along those lines? Thanks in advance, ~row

Hello Acacea, Thanks for waiting. We like the direction that Neema is going for with regards to pathing toward Palemaster. However, I cannot approve her at this time for progression. I will need to see either updating of her CDT over the next two weeks, have some GM testimony that covers her development in the recent weeks/months or logs provided to the effect of the same. If those are available we can move forward with guidance for whatever GM you select. Depending on the support offered for her development, we’ll recommend 5-7 CDQs and we would like to see her PM levels begin at 16 and progress to level 20. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here. Let us know what direction you would like to take for the more recent development of Neema and we’ll move forward from there. Regards, ~row

Hello Jadewillow, I'm afraid there's a couple of issues with this application. First and foremost, we cannot approve it with the Shifter request. As found here: http://layonara.com/nwn/prestige-class-submission-requirements Shifters must be approved with an updated biography for resubmission and at least one CDQ, depending on the evidence offered. The second issue is that at the end of the bio story, his power level is a little too high for a zero level character. We cannot approve him as written (solo-killing two giants in any kind of direct confrontation). I would suggest rewriting this portion as an accidental kill or a team work effort by members of the village. Lastly, and not directly related to an approval, in the first paragraph you make this reference: "He had acertaint reverance to the complexities of he human body..." You might want to tweek that to be 'elven' body on your next pass. Just sharing this part to be helpful! Please let me know how you would like to proceed. ~row
