look for GM quests on the calander, there are a couple that are meant for low levels.  And to my knowledge they are a good source of friends, jink, and experience.

just curious about my own activities.  I was trying to get down into the lower levels of the goblin red fang cave to get some copper, but I always ran into heavy resistance.  I would get down to badly wounded, then I would rest and lick my wounds (not literally) and continue on.  I had to do this 3 times I think, I did lose track of time but I would say I was there for barely over an hour.

I tried to make the rest areas easily defendable for RP reasons, and did talk a bit (to myself).  Was what I did considered camping?

NWN Ideas, Suggestions, Requests / Re: Mail!
« on: April 17, 2006, 02:23:55 PM »
if you did add a mail system like that, you could have PCs be mailmen as jobs.  it could be unreliable most likely for those PCs with a lesser sense of moral obligation, but you could put something on the mail case that the player can not open it.  and if they need to log off, there is an option to have it auto send, and not receive any pay on that job.  and more money for a quicker arrival and such.

I didnt mean about locations, i assume it would say a few things, but now i see what the rule is in the forum rules, i missed that part, sorry.

i had this posted in another thread around 5 days ago.  it wont say.  i have adobbe acrobat reader 5.0 and its not opening.  I give it enough time, i see that its a big file.  i just have no clue why.  the page comes out white, just a single page.  i assume its a good 200+ pages.  any ideas?

Ethanol is going to be tough to get mainstream in america.

All the price jumps are just nonsense.  They just look for excuses to raise the price.  An example as in diesel fuel (its bad too).  Diesel costs more than regular at a pump, but diesel is MUCH cheaper to make.  Regular takes all the combining for your regional mix, along with purification (very little).  And when its all done, what happens to the left over gunk? its gathered up and called diesel!!!

here in the us our public transportation is "dangerous" so we stick to driving ourselves.  The gas prices raising isnt going to kill anyone, its still pretty cheap compared to the rest of the world.  The only problem in it is the huge amounts of profits that are made by the oil companies.  People like Dick Cheney are getting more money in an day than maybe everyone here will make in a year. and they spend money like crazy too!!! It shouldnt take $8,000 to go on a golf trip!!! But people spend that kind of money on stuff that only costs $50-$150 because theyre stupid.

I just wish that Halliburton slips up like Enron did.

Ok, I dont know much about timezones or anything, BUT Im in central american (dont know the 3 letter abv.)  and it is 4:23 PM right now as I am making this thread.

I want to take part in the Trouble in the Kitchen event on the 23rd, but I dont know what time it will start for me.  I THINK, that it starts at 8:00 PM for me.

Could someone tell me if I am right or wrong about the time I think it starts?

« on: April 11, 2006, 05:45:11 PM »
i cant view the guide, i assume that theres TONS of stuff that i'd be better off knowing, but i cant see it.  it opens up with adobe and i have the newest version of it.

since i cant read it i guess ill have to try to learn myself through experience and asking players/GMs.

how does crafting work in this game?  i read that it is not like the NWN standard using the craft weapon/armor/trap.  My first character i was planning on making would be a dwarven fighter and smith.  go TN alignment, have Dorand as my deity,  all i needed to do was just think of a background for him.  The crafting system in this is different so i would like to know how it works before i try to get him approved/created.  thanks.
