Ask A Gamemaster / Re: Ask Loremaster: Prison's of layonara« on: April 03, 2011, 04:23:42 PM »
You all are so funny, what does the character submission have to do with me honestly requesting research material and your loremaster repling I did it in sarcasm. Then when pointed out I wanted the material to pick the best spot, as the idea behide writting the bio myself, came to mind. Instead of just asking him to refer a prison that meets my requirements. Then he used a later post to say " There see you had posted this request after the problem was solved and it wasnt. The first approval re-submit for editing is when I was directed by the approver to ask the loremaaster. And for asking him for what I needed. I was doing it in pure malice by his idea alone. I have proven I am correct and he sure might have attempted to malnipulate the posts to again, try and use a much later post. The numbered thing, I did that in my reply, not the approver. If it so bothers you that I have a back bone and would not let someone to falsey accuse me in real life and I sure wont allow it in a game. You say I was insulting your staff? Really, you call pointng out the truth, insulting your staff. So I guess asking any questions for help on research material, is sarcasm. Well as a published writter, and having a full vidi real life. I really do not have time to play your game of " Do as I say or else ". Exspecially one with fraile ego's, bais options and straight up childest ganging up. What poor lil loremaster can not discuss this alone. He had to call all his friends in and say make him stop. Yeah see I told my friend's, problems with indentpent servers. They always abuse the power they have and often justifiy their actions, as helping the community. Nice to see this was utterly and completely proven yet once again. Delete my account, ban me. The game is already out of my computer. This might be why you have such an issue with getting new players and keeping players. Curb the ego's and try and remember its a game about fun, your drama and freaking out about sarcasm is not only unjusitfied and proven as such, yet is utterly childish. Its a game, not rl. Losing your tempers, yeah way to much fanasty time, try real life.
You will probably go and use your corrupt power to delete the post ~ laughes ~ like that new for a indentpent server. This is why I play games you must pay a monthy on, to avoid this drama and all your hurt fraile emotion. Oh and just a note, thank you to those who tried to seriuosly help me in this endevor. Yet the time constrains, added with this right here and with the bais treatment. I really do not have the time, to have a 10 to 28 day character approval system. 2

Thank you very much geloooo this is what I was looking for, any and all information to shorter the cycle is always helpiful. Exspeically from players that have been around a while and know the in's and out's of the character submission system. Plus reading your new rogue submission was enlightening. I just thought 40 pages might be to much, where now 40 pages might just be a cliffnote. ~ smirks ~ * I thought Rajaral's submission was long, compared to yours, its short. Next time in stead of editing it down, I will just submit the entire written novel. ~ laughes evilly ~ Once again, thank you, your information is quite useful over all.

Did you even read the 02-04-11 @615 am post by darkstorme? I guess not as you are still refering to a later post. I will quote where and what promted my request for research material. Since its apparent you are un-able to find the correct post. " There's also the issue of the prison into which Rajaral's been thrown. I can think of no city in Layonara with prisons quite that extensive which haven't been well-documented, and none of them have extensive half-ruined underground catacombs where prisoners can roam around apparently at will. This will likely have to be revised to fit with Lore, or the Loremaster can vet them for you " This is what gave me justification, to request the loremaster for the prison information.
Not a later post. ![]() There is no smiley face with his tongue sticking out 4
Ask A Gamemaster / Re: Ask Loremaster: Prison's of layonara« on: April 03, 2011, 03:17:37 AM »
The request for the prison maps was made after he requested, the catacomb information. I am sure the posts are dated, that would show this. {04-02-11 @615am } my original post for the maps was { 04-04-11 809pm } Todays post is a whole day away from the original post. Either way you slice it, your wrong again. The time date stamp proves this much. Why debate, you took what I wrote and immediately believed I was asking in malice when in truth I was really seeking research material. The quote you posted was handled after I posted in the reguards to needing the maps. The only Debate is if you will admit you were wrong in immediately believing my post was in malice, when in all honestity. It was a request for more research information. Which as of today, is no longer needed. Thank God, would hate to be accussed of other malice, for asking for help.

I was not being sarcasm I do honestly need those maps, I need to find one that has as the approver put it. " Under ground catacombs. " I need to look threw the ones that do in fact have them, if any do and then pick the one that best suits my character's bio, for location, depth and size. I wanted to make sure the lore was correct, as the dogma is described how Rajaral see's it, at no time does the character submission, refer to how the approver see's the dogma. I was just trying to ensure, the information I had used was current. The Maps I do need, thats not sarcasm. Thats interested, in full research materials. Honestly I am not sure how you would immediately think the worst of my post, oh wait does bais mean anything to you.
After reading the new constructive recap of my character submission I will not be needing the prison maps, yet to be honest. Its wrong for you, to immediately think it was in sarcasm. Interesting how an honest request for research material, is immediately seen as sarcasm. I wont make the mistake of asking for any more information or reserarch material. You have proven without a doubt, that would be seen as sarcasm. 6
General Discussion / character submission question« on: April 03, 2011, 07:54:44 AM »
I have a question I been mauling over the last few weeks and am unsure where to post it. So I figure I can post it here and purrhaps if I am lucky darkstorme will roll around and drop it into the right forums location.
I was not wanting to come off lame, so the question will be posted in two parts the first a story, the second more a statement. Yet entirely a question, when viewed. A teacher asks her students to write a three page essa on " Pinktopians and why they love cookies " She provides each student with the same research material. Half a paragraph. She says " I will exspect those tomorrow. The final due date is friday, for those of you who are slower then most. " Come the next day, she picks over the different essa's. Pointing out serval different creative idea's used by her students to fill in the gaps. Handing them all back and saying, sorry. Its close, but re-do it. She checks 25 of her 27 students work. Two did not hand anything in, as the report is not due til friday. Day after day the students try to make their pinktopian story better and with more flare. Each day the teacher returns an edited essa and says, not quite there yet. By Friday, 25 students are frustrated. The other two still did not hand in an essa when she asks them why they did not do the essa. They reply, there was not enough information given to finish the assisment. Those two passed, the rest all failed. The Lore provides only 3% of the Bio and yet the approvers want us new players to provide them with information we do not know and do not have access to. We try to provide an interesting read, by trying to fill in huge gaps of missing information, with flare. Only to be edited and told to re-submit. In college when given an assisment where very little information is provided, to complete the work. They exspect the students to add flare and fill in the gaps with interesting reading material. Thats what determins pass or fail. Not the real information, never provided. But what they come up with, each original. The Bio's, we are asked to create are the same way, very little information is provided, so we write them up, using flare and intersting reading to fill in what we do not know. To have the approvers, say not yet, almost, and such ideal's as not quite yet, but close. What is it that the approvers want, because its not a good reading background bio. Its not all lore information and its not layonara current, as thats not provided either. When left with little or no information and people devote real life limited time to compose something worthy to be called flare. Should they not just be accepted with a few notes, since the Bio's really have, no bearing to the in game at all. If its to help the approver determin how well a new player understands the lore. Well, would it shock you, if you knew my first character was edited by 0ne of your long time members, whom I would bet knows the lore and yet the submission was put to re-submit. So we know thats not what they want, so I am just curious. What do they want, in a character submission. Seeking any and all constructive replies, on the subject. 7
Development Journals and Discussion / Goblins of Greenwich« on: April 03, 2011, 03:00:46 AM »
Recently Silvanne was out adventing with Tane, who did interduce me to a set of three brothers. Rather humorous and very interesting. Turns out one of these three brother, likes to read poetry. Well everyone knows the best written works are in the native tongue of elfin. ( As an elf would protest ) So we reached a deal. Grovel will teach me goblin and I will teach him elfin. Thus he can finally enjoy the Grandest and most Majestic works of the written arts. And I get to learn a new language, that might be useful in further ventures or travels. Before departing I did scribe a few scrolls of the basic's of Elfin, those I remember and recall being taught with as a sappling. Prononucing each for him, then working too ensure he did speak them correctly enough, for a basic level. The correct sounds, of each word, will require more work. I mentioned to Grovel, that I would test him the next time we met for an adventure and if he did not know the words I have given him, with out the scrolls and with out others present. No help from a brother or two, mind you. I would give him the other half of the basic construct of the Elfin language. Along with more detailed speaking help. As my mother taught me, the best way, is to break each word into its silibles.

Ask A Gamemaster / Ask Loremaster: Prison's of layonara« on: April 02, 2011, 08:09:45 PM »
I am trying to complete a bio that was torn to shreds by an approver, most the gap I need to fill correctly is about the prison's on layonara. I require not only the locations, but complete maps of each. I also do need any new, not the current information Lore about Sutlerio. As my Approver states things, not found anywhere within the Lore about the god. Thereby, this means the Lore, is utterly out of date.
Thank you for any and all information provided.
