Invisible Lion Whip?

The 1st page of my inventory is bugged-showing empty when 1st logging into game. It seems to have all started after making a Lion Leather Whip (for the 1st time) in the advanced crafthall. The narative said "acquired item" Lion Leather Whip, but there wasnt anything on the 1st page inventory. After exploring it closely- the whip seems to occupy 4 squares on that page but doesnt show and cant do anything with those squares. So I filled the 1st page with items and made a second whip. Narrative again says "aquired item" Lion Leather Whip but does not show on the second page although 4 squares obviously occupied by something. My crafting days are over without a fix as anything bought or made that needs to appear on the first inventory page doesn't appear now since this happened.

This is a known bioware issue.  They have tried to fix it in multiple patches but sometimes it pops up.  Logging out/in may fix it but not very often.  It eventually clears itself up.
  Any other ideas out there?

Can you manipulate the whip even though you cannot see it?  If you can you may be able to fix it by droping it and picking it up again or swapping it in and out of a bag (though the bag option may cause more problems than it helps.)

I remember having this bug a couple times on another server a few bioware patches back, and I dont remember doing anything to fix it, but it ended up fixed... so if you cant manipulate it at all, I'm going to go with what L said.  Try relogging and if it doesnt fix, just wait it out.

The bug reported about the lion whip seems to be client (me) oriented; dont know why, but the item should be alright for anyone else to craft. If you do have trouble with it-have a DM remove the whip from inventory and all will be well again...

When you highlight those four squares, set it to a quickslot....even if you can see it you can equip it and use it.
