    Still no good...
    « on: July 06, 2005, 08:17:00 AM »
There have still been no good PST quest times for people who don't get home until 6pm at night and work saturdays until after 3pm.  I see a lot of cool quests that I would ove to go on but they are always starting between noon and 4pm PST.  At 4pm I'm still working at my prison of a bank BofA (really hating work right now).  I hopefully will make the next Black Hand quest ( I have Thursday off, becuz I always work saturdays whether I like it or not :P) (I wanted to make the first one on that thursday but I had to switch with a co-worker...:()...It's just very frustrating, I know there are PST GM's and that there are a lot CST/EST/GMT people but can't we have a series that starts that is good for 9-6pm PST workers?  I would love that! :)

Sorry, we do our best.  *shrugs* Not sure what you expect from us beyond that.  We already have more than 3x (probably more like 5x - 7x) more quests than any other server out there--that I know of at least.
Sorry you are so frustrated (I see other posts where you use that word quite often).  We really do the best we can here.
Also, not all of the new GM's have placed quests on the calendar yet.

I also agree that it would be nice to have quests that start after 6 pm PST.  If there are any GM's out there who read this, and that works for you, there would be several appreciative players over here in Cali.  hehe.  My wife might actually get to go on quests with me again.  Thank you for all you do.   -Trace

I really love the world I don't want to give the impression that I don't and am always frustrated but I do wish that I could make more quests.  I play anyway though and go on impromtu quests with friends and I had a CDQ.  I have been crafting and fighting alone and with friends most of the time because that is all I can do with the time I have.  When people use a word like frustraing it doesn't always necessarily mean that they are mad or put out with the "staff".  Please don't take things too seriously L.  I love Layo.  I didn't know that the new GM's were the PST GM's.  Now I do, so I see why there haven't been quests yet.  Cool.  Please don't take things so personally. :)

Vyris is starting a quest series this Thursday that might be a good fit with your time.  I think it starts at 8:00 pm your time.  I also believe he indicated that most of  his quests will be scheduled at around that time.  Hopefully that helps.   :)

My suggestion is to check the GM introductions, look at the listing there and find GM's that are available in your time-frame, then look for the GM's on your list to post quests on the calander, sign up for those.

I am in the mountain time zone, and all my quests will begin roughly around 8PM pacific. Rarely earlier, but sometimes later. I plan to do one scheduled quest each week on thursdays, and possibly an impromptu quest if the mood strikes me on one other day of the week. The weekends are my play time and my family time, so I won't be running anything on saturday or sunday, but theres plenty of other GM's that take up the slack there.

Sign up for the quests I run, and I will try to fit you in. I do alright with the group so far, but I am trying to stick to my limit of 15 people per quest untill I get a bit more adept at group management. It's hard to include everyone in a group that size and still keep things moving along, As I get more skilled at it I will loosen the cap on numbers, and probably dial my quests in to be a bit more level specific.

Thats about all I personally can do to help ya, hope to see you questing soon.

Most of my quests start/will start at 8PM EDT... if I get enough PDT timezoners to ask me for it, I'll bump it ahead an hour but I'll always have to be off at least by midnight so that'll mean shorter quests for sure.

Well I guess that would just leave the possibility of multi-part quests open:)
