Hello.

I posted on login problems too - but as that seems to be for login problems for the forum and not the game I put it here too. If it is the wrong place let me know and ill delete it and post it wherever requested.  Anyway to my problem.

Played on a CDQ on sunday. This involved switching between servers. At the end of the quest we were taken back to Mistone. However, everytime I log on I appear on the wrong server, am logged out to be put back into Mistone and then booted. This happens with both my characters despite the fact that one has never left Mistone. Just before being booted the message read "portal has failed for unknown reasons please report to fourms". So I am.

Help.

Are you playing a goblin character?  If so Orth is aware of a booting problems on those characters and is working on a solution.

Playing a goblin? Well Mary is ugly.....but no unfortunately not.  

Mary Blood Axe is human (though she may think she is a dwarf) and Germaine Lorn is a Wood Elf.

Is this the port from Lorindar to Karthy?  We've been having problems with the client loading up and crashin on that trip, myself several times.  What usually works is if you log into the server that you are neither going to nor from, if that makes sense.  For example, if you crash repeatedly going from central to west, then log into east and the auto-port backup script will kick in and send you to west and load up fine.

It's some kind of weird bug that happens whenever I login on West in Karthy docks, I think possibly a corrupted hackpack file, but I'm not an expert on that.  All I know is the above trick worked for me and the bug's already in the queue of reports.  good luck.
