« on: November 07, 2006, 12:16:37 AM »
*Writen on the opening page* It has been sugested i keep a journal so in days ahead i can look back and see the reasons i made the decisions in my life so here it is, though i am not the most prolific of writers i will try to keep this going. Eson Aralon
My time at spellguard has been amongst the happiest in my life, even the endless weapon drills were comforting. I have attained some proficiency with most weapons I still prefer the staff, though I can understand using the right weapon for the situation in hand and a shield is good to have for emergencies.   But all things must come to an end and I have worked hard for this over the last few years and now it has come I am officially a protector.  My duties are light and fairly simple at the moment though I am sure they will get more challenging as time goes on and I get used to the situation, at present I am spending a lot of time in and around Blackford I think it’s just to make out presence felt and it is an important place to us. There are a number of clerics that request I travel with them Belriz in particular seems to like my company. But all in all I have a lot of free time for my studies and Storold a brother protector has been helping me out in this area. If it’s a book I should read or simply a word of advice he seems to be there which I am thankful for.

I must admit Storold is patient and a great teacher, my studies are coming along well and i have been atending classes almost everyday when duties permit. met a drid i think she said she was by the name of Kyolo nice girl if alittle flighty at times helped her do a few jobs for the locals, it was nice to get away from the books for awhile.
