    Campfire cooking.
    « on: August 18, 2005, 01:00:00 AM »
Heya, My own sorce of food is fish at the moment, it's quicker but much later I shall take up cooking. I cook food on the camp fire - but why not actually gain cooking XP from the cooking of the raw fish or meat?

I know that, but they should give you XP for cooking by campfire like the fish and that, don't you agree?

No I dont think we should get XP for cooking on a campfire or house oven.
Beside the fact that I think it would be nightmare to script, giving XP for cooking, means possible failures as well and then every campfire will become a "craft area" which will be quite a big thing to manage.
Cooking on the campfire or house ovensĀ gives you guarenteed food and no XP. If you want XP cook it in the inn's kitchen area, but you will need more ingredients than just meat and you will have a much higher failure rate.
