Persistent chests at Leilon Arms have disappeared
    « on: January 14, 2006, 10:38:00 AM »
I just logged in to my room at the Arms, and found that all furniture, including bed, desk, persistent chests and their contents had disappeared. Lepus took a sneaky peek in one of the other 'merchant' type rooms, and the same thing seemed to have happened there.
Then, in Hlint, several characters (including Lepus) seem to have lost their oxen. It occurred to me that this might be part of the set-up for the 'cattle infection' quest that's in the offing, but the furniture too, well ...I assume that's a bug, which will be causing problems for others, too.

I'll post a copy of this on the reimbursement thread, too:

Lepus had a bear pelt, a set of jaguar leather armour, 12 copper wires, 2 dire spider poisons, 2 giant spider poisons, 2 phase spider poisons and a single spool of spider silk in his chests, to my recollection. He also had 2 copper ingots on his ox.

Ferrit sold him the armour, Katrien Hommel sold him the poisons (in 2 batches), and the bear pelt and silk were collected on the quest 'Thawed hearts, running noses'; I don't think I can get confirmation for any of the other stuff, though I'd quite like the wire back.

    Thanks for your time,
    Mandrake.

Heh...possibly stupid question, did you leave the building, use the door, and come back in? If there was a server reset, everything placed would be gone until someone used the door again, then everything would be as it was left. :)
