In Death Void, a completely black screen

Hello,

I have a character, my first and only one, in Death Void.  The screen is completely black.  This happened on Wednesday. The first time I played. Every time I log on it is still the same.  I read that I death takes 3 days.  It is Sat now.  Shouldn't something have happened by now?

I'm trying to be patient with this game by it is very boring being dead in a completly black screen.

The character's name is

Jin Lun Lee.

Is this normal?

If you're stuck in the Death Void for more than 30 seconds ONLY, you may use your Remembering Orb and you should be transported to your bindstone.  Death doesn't take 3 days.  That's something else...related to death, but not death itself.

Not at all.

The "death takes 3 days" line you refer to is how long it takes to be judged IC when you die (perma-death, not being recalled to a bindstone.)

OOC, the death/respawn process shouldn't take more than 30 seconds as Dorganath said.  Sometimes longer if you have to change servers to get to your bindstone.

Nothing in the game mechanics will require waiting for a period as long as 3 days, if something doesn't seem right, feel free to ask someone (we're a friendly bunch here, really.)
