She said our love would be forever,
Never coming to an end.
Like a wall you couldn't sever,
Or even break or bend.
The love we had was like a rose,
It blossomed so beautifully,
But now it's like my grandpas nose,
Old and wrinkally.
Things can always be revived,
And end up for te best.
But the love has to survive,
And my heart must be repaired in my chest.
Maybe what you're saying is true,
Maybe it is not.
But right now you seem to be blue,
So maybe it's worth a shot.
