A Stormy afternoon in Leilon. . .

*The bottles rattle with a certian methodic melody as Derrick carries some of his latest brews from the kitchen to the bar.  He begins stacking the bottles and making notes in the ledger when heavy footsteps can be heard.

"Bar's closed"

"Oh, yes I am aware of your hours Mr. Loadson."

Derrick stands and looks over the bar at the Priestess.  He nods and notices there are several others with her, wearing light blue laquered full plate armor with intricate seashell designs.   The ones in armor carried heavy flails that were ovbiously enchanted as electrical sparks danced around sharp and wicked looking spikes.

Derrick grinned, "Your not the usual group that picks up orders for the temple..."

The Priestess smiled, but the smile was quite humorless.   "The Tide sends Her greetings and wishes a favor."

Derrick scratches his chin.  "The Tide eh?  She has been fair in our business dealings.  I'm listenin?"

"Still smiling.  Nothing that would impose too much on such a mutually beneficial business relationship.  We merely seek information."

Derrick stands with his arms crossed.  He nods slightly for the Priestess to continue.

The priestess pulls out a scroll and spreads it out on the bar.  On the scroll is a vivid picture of a diminutive cloaked figure.  "We are looking for this person.   Have you seen him?"

Derrick looks at the picture for a moment.  "I might know him... hard to tell with the hood an all."

"Oh? spoke the Priestess, her voice seemed to rumble slightly like waves breaking on the shore"

"Why yer want him fer?"

The Priestess's voice calmed quickly.  "He recently made a... donation at the Temple...  the Tide sent us to thank him... personally.   The Tide would look favorably on your establishment would that you could aid us in bringing... her blessing to one so deserving. . ."  The Priestess looked up, her face placid yet a deep stirring could be seen within her eyes.

Derrick regarded the Priestess for a moment.    "A fella lookin like this rented a room here about a year ago.  He moved out an I haven't seen him since.  I'm not even sure if he is who yer lookin fer."

"What was his name Mr. Loadson.   If you wouldn't mind", smiled the Priestess.

"Taislin er somethin like that.  Me ledger only goes back a few months.  Our residents fluctate often."

"Ah.  Thank you Mr. Loadson."   The Priestess motions to her armored followers who strap their weapons and begin collecting the crates marked for the temple.    She places a bag of gold on the bar.  "Here you are... and you will find a little extra for your time."

Derrick nods and lifts the bag. He smiles and nods at the Priestess again.
