Mother i know your watching over me and can see this,but there are some very straneg people around this place they call hlint

my fire fan spell is almost flawless with just a hiccup here or there if i dont relax completely

i was out practicing and ran into more of those dispicable creature except they dont ride wolves here,they run on their stumpy legs and make their raspy cries of battle,hmph,battle indeed this new cable on your crossbow that i found under the bed works very well,and my aim imporves if i dont think about them running to me

needless to say mother,i have a fine necklace of goblin ears and fangs in my pouch

you know i had read in my studies about mage familiars mother,and you told me when it was time i would have one too,do you recall that?
well its time because i was walking near the wooded area just outside hlint and i heard this rustling of leaves,i glanced about but didnt see anything at first,but then i saw an eye watching me,and then another from the leaves so i thought it was a cat or something,then i saw a few more eyes and they all blinked at the same time

a little nervous i told it to come out and show itself,and it did
my familiar is an eyeball mother,a real one that floats and shoots ice beams and everything,i named him iyes cause he has so many
and hes great when i was target practicing at goblins,he floated right beside my shoulder and when i shot one he would ice them at the same time dropping them like a sack of rocks

i made a small collection mother from the dead bodies we killed and offered a small prayer to the mad one who has been watching over me i think since that fateful day they took you from me

i have grown a goatee and have kept it braided as it grows,so i dont burn it really,but i dont sleep well and i think it shows some

i have to go study now mother and keep my incantations fresh in my head so when i go shooting again i can practice with more then your crossbow.

ps. they revere life over everything here its kind of strange when a few miles down the road they simply leave injured people to die
these two elves i ran into tried to convince me that goblins are good,i told them indeed they are they are good at standing just still enough to try a head shot

mother i will never understand these people who dwell with the so called defenders

i was walking about getting my bearings since i didnt pay that close of attention on my way from home,and i found several hunting birds that attacked on sight,
dont worry mother the mad one was guiding my aim with your crossbow and they fell swiftly

the part i dont understand is one of these defenders came across my killing and then proceeded to show me how to kill and deal with the bodies more effectively

you would think they would be appalled at killing their wildlife,but no they just help

maybe some of the mad ones teachings have already slipped within those who follow our enemies
a short tour led to a small shop where the small tools for killing and dealing with the bodies were sold,yes im serious they have a shopkeeper who sells the tools to deal with freshly killed bodies

a few silent words to the mad one and i was then out the other gate i found into a great open plain with more of those hunting birds,but my spells made quick work of them and i collected some trophies to comesurate my kills which i shall send to the mad one this evening

mother you would be proud of me,my steps are growing stronger and my hatred for those who let you die unwarranted is as bright as from the minute i found their broken trinkets of their faith

they shall be brought to pay for their misguided actions,with their eyes growing empty as i watch their life blood fall from them drop by drop
this i have sworn to you mother and it shall be done

mother i have great things to report
it seems the mad one has another roaming about though he for some reason tries to intimidate people,but his armor of black and a flaming skull he walks about with talking too,kind of like i do with you mother
then again i have heard bards tell tales of hidden places around that might help in my steps to enacting revenge upon your killers mother

we shall have to just wait and see as i broaden my journies about the isle

my studying has paid off some mother,by watching other mages who know so much more than i do i managed to get quite good with my staff while covering their flank while they cast,i have picked up a few more spells and the tricks on how to not need components in hand to cast them either,that comes in handy for now as fund are hard to come by and some of the spells materials are very expense

i have two potential teachers i think,i havent approached either yet but they may take me under their wing and give me a broader range to learn from then simply watching and picking things up bits and pieces

one spell i learned mother lets me electrify multiple enemies in a globe of lightning which then explodes outward
i have been able to increase my pelt gathering with this spell as it gives me bodies with no harm to myself,but im torn in trying to work hides for objects or to craft gems mother
i have seen some of the end product of the gem crafters mother and you would love some of them,one man held a diamond he had just polished up and it sparkled in the dim light like a small sun

ill have to try both and see what im better suited for,its going to be harder then my books but they came so naturally to me
my spell book has room for many mroe spells that i can take with me in my journies,but first i have to find a palce to put my larger books,and i dont trust anyone

the bank for now lets me use a chest there and only i have the key but a small room with a table would be perfect,if i could find one for rent within my meager means of coins

perhaps i may sign on to a mining trip that seems to leave daily,they are well armed with fighters as it seems the ore they need is guarded by a clan of ogres i think they said,a tactical raid is how they phrased it,they go in fast and gather as much ore they can haul and then get out before the rest of the clan is alarmed
the clan numbers must be so large that the few that are eliminated and given to the mad one are never missed

i bet i can get a good pay pouch aiding with my spells on one of those strikes,ill definately check into it

the kin of the destoyers of our home mother have a residence outside of town and i have been using their scout as practice for your bow
i can land a head shot four times out of ten which isnt bad

i miss you mother and even though your with me and the mad one guides my staff and spell i feel so alone

maybe with some healing spells i can fix the damage the worg did to my face and then i wont be so hideous to people anymore
but they dont see me anyhow
we work in secrecy and deception and the hood i wear aids that
it may keep me warm but noone knows really what i look like and thats good
the mad one has guided my hatred and honed it mother and soon in time my skills will match my burning desire to watch the defenders burn under my spellfire
then again i may simply let others do my killing for me besides what they dont know will kill them too and then all will be just fine in the end

i have good tidings and bad mother

it seems that wreaking havoc and spilling blood around this place is simple,and with a whispered word or two to the mad one he will dine like a festival washing his garden with the newly killeds lifeblood

it seems that this town is full of hunters and so called defenders like those that failed you ,so i have been keeping my head low and working into their circles
i figure if they dont see me as a threat i can get closer to them before its time to strike the killing blow in the mad ones name

i have a spell that accidently hurts any within its range of effect,so though it doesnt last long the blood from the defenders spills into the soil as well

recent turns have me roaming about with a few different people,though i have been meeting some of what they call dragoncalled,those so called heroes that made the dust cover the skies

but my skills are developing well ,i simply must find one who can train me in certain things to improve,while my dark studies have to be kept discreet

the keeping from overzealous clerics is hard at times,they always want to cast divination spells to find out about people

my scars cant be healed by magic mother,matter of fact my arcane magics have slowly been causing them to change as you will,the ones from the worgs are healed but visible,and have now covered the right side of my face
but itws a simple price to pay to enable me my revenge to restore you mother
these petty arrogant fools with their i wear fancy metal so i can serve the great so and so
they will be cursing when their metal is their bonds and i watch them fall into the mad ones touch,their eyes growing dark

time to sleep mother,i need to rest my eyes after studying but i simply had to talk with you

mother i have met one of the most infuriating people ever

this one swears up and down she is better then everyone else yet her blood soaks the ground like everyone elses and some  times more with a carefully aimed exploding sphere since they refuse to let the spells have room to work

well the mad one drank deeply of this fools blood though the last essence was robbed away by a last second potion dousing her wounds to bring her back from certain meeting of her worst dream

if i run into her again mother i think i may simply let her pass on and let his cold touch permeate her form so she will always know

not like any one will miss her

my studies are prgressing as is my control

the scars are worse but thats to be expected,maybe in time ill be able to have a small blade imbued with the icy touch of the mad one  to drain the lifeforce swiftly till their eyes go dark and somehow transfer some to keeping my form intact
