I was wondering however how to go about rp-ing it becoming one of the lucindites. do i need to become an aprentice to some one who is an afirmed lucindite? or is studying the faith enough. and how about alignments Do you need to be one of the 4 alignments as stated in the info about lucinda.(LG, NG, CG, LN) or is any alignments alright.
To move toward any faith is easier when you don't already have one. Essentially it involves RP, generally with someone who is of that faith, typically a priest/priestess, but it can be someone else. We like to see entries in your character development thread regarding your character's interest and motivation behind such a move.
Unless your character is going to become a cleric, you don't have to subscribe to the "one step away" rule regarding a character's alignment versus his/her deity's alignment. Though A CE follower of Toran would be kinda silly.
Chosing a deity shouldn't take more than perhaps a RL week of RP. It's fairly simple, but we do want to avoid people switching deities frequently, as it makes no sense and creates work for the GM Team.
if I have to change my alignment how do I go about doing that both IC and OOC?
IF this is necessary, and I don't really think it is in this case (but ultimately it's up to you), the first step is to prove to us that you the player can play and maintain your character's alignment. The next thing is to show, through Character Development thread entries, that your character is undergoing an internal change consistent with the target alignment, and that change should appear to occur over time. At that point, you may apply for an alignment shift, at which point you may be authorized to begin changing your RP toward the new alignment. A GM will work on changing your alignment score(s) appropriately to reflect the shift, if approved.
one more question. how can I adjust my summons acording to my deity once my character has changed. Is that cencer of arcane devotion thing enought?
Yes. Please tell me though that you're not joining a faith for the summons though.
