it is more a question than anything.

Today I was ask how much a true strike gems would be. Knowing it was a 1rst circle gems I lens the others gems of that circle I had. I was a bit surprise to see that the lens says 200 for them, so I decided to lens the fine gem it self. The conclusion of that was 800 gold pice for a fine feldspar gems, which make sences concidering the process that has to be made to make the gems. What doesnt make sence is that adding a furter step would make the gem lose in prices.
Even more so when you think that to infuse that, you need to be able to cast the spell and if you dont have that spell the scroll cost at minimum 300.
taking this into account, am i the only one who finds this odd?

The lens is only a guide, and as you see it's not accurate in all cases. Generally, it's fine, but the problem is that the base NWN gameassigns values based on item properties and such. For those custom items like our various gems that were not in the original game, we've assigned a value, but NWN the game sees a "Gem of True Strike" or whatever and does not know it was based on a particular stone and should thus be worth more than the stone.
If you think they're worth more, charge more, just keep it within reason. Though I'm not sure how many people will pay 800 for fine feldspars, but hey...it's worth a shot, right?

I woulndt charge 800 for the gems myself but surely more than 300 for the infused one.
Maybe a market council could be made much like the stock option or things like this to debat this hehe.

Heh...well, debate isn't really the issue. We have tons of items in our palette and going through and making special cases for those few that don't fit the pattern isn't really a stellar use of developer time.

*blinks*
The community pretty much does this on its own.  In fact, Somewhere here on the forums, buried, is a pricing guide  put together by ZeroVega.  It may not be complete, but there's no reason it can't be used as a basis, and anyone's free to suggest updates to it.

The laws of (almost) free market. :)

Prices tend to stabilize by themselves.
