Tileset Recommendation

With the new version coming online with a wider range of climes, and the fact that we have an ever-temperature decreasing world, I highly recommend this tileset.  It's not *that* big a hak addition, and I've found the only hak conflicts to be elven city tile doors.  SS Netherwind is nice as well, but not as clean and just far too gigantic in scope.

You put the old Icewind Dale music on this and it's an absolutely fantastic atmosphere.

Anyhow, just an idea.

Yes, normally the addition of further hak packs is frowned upon given the download and other such issues.  However, while Layonara is of course quite a gorgeous world, there are quite a few haks out there that are probably far superior (in my opinion) than to what is currently used in the world.  I'm sure the team has considered many and over time some have thankfully been incorporated (such as the Elven interior and the Dwarven city hak).

The work it takes to blend every thing together without bugs or error must take considerable time.  However, I personally would love to see more winter tilesets such as the one above - winter cities (and given the dark ages, this should be expected due to the weather change), winter forests, etc...

I'd like to see more "frozen wasteland" mountain peaks like in Michaelis's album section, though to get that scenary you'd have to incorporate and additional sky hak (nanosky hak last I remembered).  I would assume given the recent post by Leanthar about Layonara and it's future where he mentioned the incorporation of new haks, I would hope these winter haks would be on the list.

We're reviewing the tilesets, and yes, will be adding more for V3. I'm pretty sure you all will be pleased with the results.  :)

Hehe, I can't wait. Just downloaded the hak found here, and OMG it's gorgeous allowing seasonal forest variations with beautiful keeps.

Darkness over Daggerford what?  ;)  I feel like I'm playing NWN 2 with these tiles.  I'm pretty blown away by what these folks have done with the existing program.  I mean, that one castle with the cliff tides..  But yeah, I added Xerx's since I see an obvious trend towards the 'cold'.. and this has the best icecaps I've seen.  Regardless... fun fun!
