heh, ya i knwo lame. but i had to compliment you guys a bunch of things. i've been playin NWN for three coming to four years now, mostly on a server called "world of caenyr" and really i wish i had spent the whole time on Layonara.
The craftign system is GENIOUS! i remember posting alot of suggestions on WoC about making a crafting system like UO where your craft level and your fighting level were two different things. I've enver been so interested in Armor smithing on NWN, which fits so well with Tath's facination for the new technology.
i also like the inna nd camp fire system, full rest there where anywhere else you only recover a few hit points, brilliant. i was actually getting tired of watching people jsut sitting anywhere and resting jsut cuz they could. it really takes away from the rp.
The death system rocks too. make so much more sence and is alot more fair than losing alot of hard earned xp and all your gold, or some other variation. it isn't liek you'd get a mind wipe, but you'd feel weak from the experience.
Ox, biggest life saver of my life. sucha great tool, and an awesome investment for blacksmiths =D.
i'm also really happy with the focus on rp and the frowning on powergaming. it got tiring trying to make a char that could be something funt o rp and still be able to keep up witht he powergamers so your not getting your face wiped in the dirt all the time.
i'm really happy i found this place, and from a guy who's been in the NWN community since it's early days and the DND community longer (though since i'm only 19 there are many who have been in the DnD community MUCH longer) REAL great job adn thank you for making such a place that is so perfect for those really wanting rp.
