Do you have to be a certain level to log on to central?? As soon as I log on to central I get booted. Does anyone know the reason for this??

That's because you need to arrive there via Mistone (or wherever) first; Use a ship or portal (or some other method I'm not aware of)

You have to go through a portal to get to Central or a boat. You can't just log in straight away. Yes there are level requirements to get to Central.

While this is not enforced by code in any way, the intended minimum level for Central is Level 8. It is best advised that one not visit Central below this level with the exception of a GM-run event.
  Likewise, the intended minimum level for East is 17th, though the key exception there is the Great Library.
