Question regarding retiring a character

Is it possible to retire or make inactive a character without perming him or her? I would like to withdraw Daniel from the Angel's Guild and make him inactive *non playable by me*. Is this possible?

You can have him deleted, or you can just not play him.
  Your character's association with a guild is your call.

Thanks for the reply Dorganath.  As Rp'd by Daniel and the Pandorns with Omer as a witness, Daniel is now retired from the Angel's Guild and will not be seen again in game.
