Subject: Progress Report the First
Dear Sir,
I have been pursuing all available leads regarding the Necromancer detected on the continent of Mistone. Late last year, I am nearly certain I sighted him just outside the town of Center; however, being on foot while he was mounted, I was unable to pursue him. Since then, the trail has gone cold, and I have received no reports of necromantic activity beyond the usual disturbances of unquiet graves.
Recently, I turned my investigation toward Storan’s Crypt, located not far from Fort Llast. Unfortunately, I have been unable to penetrate its deepest, most vile depths. I intend to enlist the assistance of a skilled thief to ensure this warren can be thoroughly examined and eliminated as a possibility.
Additionally, I have compiled the locations of several other wretched sepulchers scattered across the region. Plans are already underway to investigate each of these sites, and I will report back upon the successful cleansing of these blighted places.
