Almost 9 years that I've joined the rank of the faithful of the Great Gold. 9 years of training to be able to serve my Lord. Days are spent as usual, the routine only broken from time to time for outside duties... either on the roads with the other knights or on the gates with the guards. Every morning, before tending to the horses, I thank Rofirein for his blessing on the new day... every evening I pray to him for another day spent in serving Him.

Today's a days without official duty for me... I went to the Orphanage and talked with the youngest lads and girls. Telling them of the Great Gold, of the Laws and what it means to me. Perhaps some who listened to me might follow in my steps. I hope so, there was a few who seemed quite interested... and one or two who snickered, as always. But I'm sure even they will see the truth in my words. It is the laws that makes us what we are, they allow us to live in peace and prosperity. But they need to be uphold. And it is my duty to see they are.. and to bring them to lawless places and hearts.

My time at the Academy is coming to an end... soon I'll be granted the weapon and shield of a Knight Errant and I'll set on my path. Where it will lead me I don't know yet, but I have no fears, for the Great Gold is with me.
But my first stop will be at the temple in Vehl.

For now my shield is blank, for I have yet to prove myself as a Knight. But I'll pack a Standard of the Great Gold so that all will know what and who I am and what I bring.

//OOC Note. I'll not be "given" a flag... but as soon as I'll be able, I'll buy one.

Can't believe I've left the academy almost 3 years ago... well there wasn't much to write about really. I helped as best I could those I met... even did some odd jobs to earn a bit of trues. Life isn't has easy outside of the shelter of the academy... but I didn't really expected it to be anyway.

But something happen lately that should be noted. Some time ago, rumors of shadows and disturbances in Hempstead started to be heard and a name soon came out too. One Sallaron Tempest. I bought a bow from him... and confronted him for these events in Hempstead. He wasn't too happy about that. He did not show any aggressivity though and no signs showed he might be a danger to others. And when he refused to come peacefully and used a trick to escape, I did not pursue the matter further, knowing that I would eventually catch up with him again. Besides he seem willing to come... but said he had to do something first, something as I understood that was related with the events in Hempstead.

I had not heard of the man again when I met a few guards and an official from the Courts of Justice in Lor. They were seeking me. I didn't expect that at all. Why me.. that still got me wondering. But I was asked to look for a man, a man name Sallaron Tempest. I was quite surprised but it appeared it had nothing to do with Hempstead. I was asked to "escort" him to Lor, but not by force. He was needed there to answer questions about some enquiry being made. I know not even now what it was all about, but I did take on the task. I made enquiries... seeked out his home and looked in a few taverns in my travels. I did not find him, but it seemed I got his attention that way or at least that of his wife. I managed to meet with the man and he willingly came with me to Lor, where I deferred him to the Guardian of Justice there. There was some rumors on the reason of his coming, but that is not for me to relay those, so I'll keep from writing them here too.

Our Duty to serve in fairness and integrity.
Our Duty to serve through good judgement and generosity.
Our Duty to serve through faith and true Justice
Our Duty to serve as champions of law and order against injustice and evil

While perusing the records in Fort Vehl Temple, I stumbled on an interesting parchement. It seems we once have an outpost and some influence in a now backwater town called Frolic. There was also some mention of an expedition in the Dark Peaks.

I gathered a group to follow up these informations about the Relic. We set out, Me, Maran, Fleur, and three of the Wardens. ONce we reached the foot of the Dark Peaks, we met with the Satyrs guarding the area. Maran asked we not harm them and I agree. So we asked for passage and thanks to Maran we were granted it. On the way, we fought Trolls, Giants and Goblins. And it could have ended there when we faced a tribe of spider's riding Goblins. We all fell but Maran. Who managed to bring some help from the Satyrs tribe. We eventually reached a well that, according to one of the Wardens led into the caves below the Wizard's tower in the peaks. After fighting our way through giants and spiders, we came to some old ruins. There we found the remains of the Rofireinites expedition and of the Dark elves. We also found what we were looking for... and old amulet of Rofirein, which I brough back to the Temple in Vehl. It seems this amulet is also some sort of key and will be needed later. I said that if the cause was just there would be no problem for those needing it to use it. And it seems the church agreed on it.

Lan's Port.

I had some business in Lan's Port the other day and when I arrived the town was full of grisly news... apparently, a murder had been committed. Heading for the Inn to try and learn more, I stumbled upon other adventurers that had the same urge to know more. We asked the Innkeeper and then heads out to the house of the Ellison's (the victims), and a grisly sight it was indeed... lots of blood, footprints in blood... but no body. A search of the house revealed several clues, a blooded blanket, some fish scales, and the girl's diary... which pointed at that the family might have been living over its means. We head back out again, and ask at the bank, the father's employer.. but we did not find anything really of value. Tim and Balazar however seemed to have been on a trail... and while we search the tower and find several pages of the diary that had been torn off, they search and ask around...

We eventually close in on the murderers, which were young ones lead by one Fletcher Black.. all "friends" of Logan, the Ellison's son. We caught them... and learn that they got rid of the bodies at sea. And a elven named Dar managed to get the exact location.

I took a longboat out to sea, while Tim went to ask the sea elves for help. While scanning the sea, I spotted the young girls on the shore... and when we reached her, she was still barely alive. With a lot of efforts and some help from Rofirein, I and the sea elves clerics managed to save the girl.

The three... *to be continued*

Orc's Watch

Her name is Bhuti (Pride). She came to me today. Now I can bring the word of the Law faster and further. Today I'm a real Knight of Rofirein.

Solved some troubles in Katherian. A wizard died but not quite. We managed to free his soul from some trap the wizard got caught in it seems.

Solved a series of three murder in Lyn. A young man by the name of Layan got killed by Steadholder Ashgrove, a man who got turned into a werewolf. Both were in love with Elisa, a maid at the Inn. But with Ashgrove "disease" he stopped seeing Elisa, but didn't want to let Layan do so. He lured him away in some secluded place and tore him apart so he can't be raised. Unfortunately, someone discovered the fact and tried to balckmail Ashgrove. All they manage was for them to be killed too.

But know, Ashgrove is dead too, we faced him in his house. And as I asked questions about the attacks on his farm, and as I exposed to him what I thought he did, he got angry and turned into a huge white werewolf and attacked us. We had no choice but to kill him.

What is strange though, is the form of werewolf... not usual. White, and very very cold.
