I rested 24 seconds after the timer should have allowed me to recover,as stated above.
The timer did not report I could recover until 2 minutes AFTER the time had elapsed.

The "3 minutes" isn't nececessarily exactly precise.  It's a rounded calculation made when the death system pseudo-heartbeat comes around to checking how much time you have left and reporting it to you, which it only does every 5 minutes regardless of how much time is actually left. The time remaining message should be accurate to +/- 30 seconds in any case.

So what I'd guess happened is that you initiated rest just short of the expiration of the reflections.

Well there might be a problem really. Brian just died not too long ago.. a bad death with a dt =(. I switched twice of servers trying to locate someone, and when I got back to west, the timer told me I could rest, while I had just died and had about 45 minutes or so to go.

Can you show timestamped logs to illustrate this?
